RMF renews player sponsorship for 2021 season

RMF are delighted to announce that despite the challenges we have faced as a business this year we have renewed our player sponsorship at Wasps.

RMF’s player is Ben Harris, he was first seen in Wasps colours when he provided injury cover during a loan spell from Newcastle Falcons in 2016.

The England Counties prop then joined Wasps permanently ahead of the 2017/18 season and ended an impressive campaign by starting the Premiership semi-final against Saracens.

After two seasons with Championship outfit Rotherham Titans, Harris joined Yorkshire Carnegie in 2012 and during the next three seasons established himself as an indispensable member of the squad who won numerous man-of-the-match awards during his 65 appearances.

A season with Newcastle followed, during which the Huddersfield-born prop made eight appearances.

At 6ft 4in and over 125kg, Harris is a powerful figure whose ball-carrying skills have seen him make a favourable impression on an occasional basis as a replacement back-rower.

In 2018/19 Harris featured 25 times in the Black and Gold, going over for his first try against former employers Newcastle.

He passed the 50-appearance milestone for the Club in Wasps' win over Bath Rugby at Ricoh Arena in November 2019.

We were delighted to have a personal teams meeting with Ben and James Wootton (head of commercial) last week and we quizzed him on our burning questions.
