Taking Eco Sky High!

RMF were comissioned to install 650m2 of our RMF Eco Range second user raised flooring system into the 17th floor of a commercial office fit out in central Birmingham. The project involved an initial coat of PVA sealer to the sub floor to ensure the floor void remained clear of dust and ready for install.

The RMF installation team set about installing our cleaned, tested and fully warrantied second user Eco range system onto an all new steel pedestal under structure. The finished floor height covered by the project ranged for 50 to 80mm. The client was able to benefit from a significant cost saving vs a new system for this CAT-B fit out where there is no requirement for prospective tenants to view a 'shiny new floor' as the client already had a tennant with a full turn key solution mapped out.

The client was also able to benefit from a considerable environmental impact reduction of the project as by opting for the Eco Range versus a new system as the product forms part of the circular economy by being reused as opposed to entering into landfill. The panels used are one of the thousands RMF has saved from entering into landfill over the past 7 years.

The project ran to time, under budget and our client and their tenant were delighted with the finished result and now advocate using the RMF Eco Range versus a new system.
