Cambridge Science Park

RMF were delighted to have been appointed as the sole raised flooring contractor for a new workspace within the Cambridge Science Park campus.

The concept for the space was to promote co-working throughout the team with a number of break out areas to encourage collaboration and time away from the desk space. There is also a nod to nature within the design as the space maximises outside light and there are subtle hints of a biophilic theme in the interiors.

RMF’s works were to prepare the works prior to install with a PVA seal and hoover. Our main scope was to install our RMF Titan 29mm medium grade raised access floor throughout all 1,000m2 of office space.

Our installation teams also returned to screw down the panels within the circulation areas due to the high traffic anticipated.

As you can see from the below pictures the office space looks stunning and despite it being hidden the raised flooring is installed with a 25 year system warranty.
