103 Colmore Row - Terrace

At RMF we love a project that challenges us to look outside the normal office fit out installs. The new external terrace at 103 Colmore Row Birmingham was one of these very projects.

The client had a bold vision for a truly stunning terrace for their members to utilise as a space for collaboration, relaxation and to enjoy unrivalled views of the Birmingham skyline.

RMF’s scope of works were to install our RMF external terrace system to suit a 150mm void on the terrace areas. The location of the terrace on the 18^th floor and with very little coverage from nearby buildings required close collaboration with the design and structural teams to ensure the weight of the panels was sufficient to avoid any high winds lifting panels.

With reference to the patterns shown this also required close co-ordination with other trades both before and during the installation to ensure the architects design was correctly implemented.
