Dashwood
RMF were delighted to have been appointed by leading fit out contractor Collins Construction on Dashwood, London. The project spanned over 120,000 sq ft of office space with various fit out solutions required.
RMF’s scope of works spanned the CAT-A fit out, Myo and CAT-B works. RMF completed the supply and installation of new medium duty raised floor to levels 1, 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 15 and anti static vinyl to the comms room areas.
The Myo works are a unique concept created by the building owner and client, Myo itself is an abbreviation of the phrase ‘make your own’ which is the underlying theme of this collaborative workspace. Landsec has designed the Myo fit out to be in contrast to standard co-working spaces and their desire is to foster collaboration amongst incoming occupants to these spaces.
RMF’s scope of works within the Myo project was to complete the re-installation of the existing raised floor panels onto new pedestals to suit various floor finishes and various cutting in to partition works. By re-using the existing raised floor panels in this area the client not only benefitted from a cost saving but a reduction in the waste away and overall carbon impact of the project.
As always when working with Collins Construction, the site team were experienced and our Contracts Director and co-owner of RMF Ian Jones commented ‘ The Dashwood project was carefully phased and co-ordinated, the Collins team were a pleasure to work with’. RMF were on site for over 12 months and it is excellent to see the finished fit out pictures illustrating a project delivered to a high standard.
We look forward to working alongside the Collins team again on future projects.
