EasyJet Training Facility

RMF were appointed by a leading fit out contractor to complete the raised flooring works at the EasyJet Gatwick training facility.

This was a truly unique project as part of the works included installing raised floor within a hangar where a plane including cabin and cockpit had been located. The client required a raised floor to be installed around the plane to allow for considerable services to be housed beneath the plane. The plane was used to support with training crew on various ‘real life’ scenarios that could occur whilst in flight. It was certainly a first for RMF to install raised floor that allowed for a smoke machine to be used within the cabin!

As you can see the installation of raised floor allows for the crew in training to feel that the plane is as close to a ‘real life’ experience of boarding and preparing for flight.
