Circular CAT-B fit out - Goswell Road

RMF were appointed by a large main contractor to assist a re-fit for their client, a leading telecommunications provider. The client employed the contractor to enable the migration of their employees from their current Fleet Place and Docklands location into the Goswell Road building.

The scope of works involved data centre reconfiguration and Cat A & Cat B fit out of office space at 260-265 Goswell Road. The 50,000 sq ft refurbished office accommodation involved the refurbishment and fit out of the existing 4th floor data centre, the 4th & 5th floors within the older building and part of the ground floor to provide a new staff entrance for the new offices.

The project also involved the installation of three new external lifts including the construction of new lift shafts and the creation of a new roof terrace. The works also involved part removal of the existing curtain walling and installation of new glazed elements along the 4th floor (data centre) northern elevation.

RMF’s scope of works were as follows;

Supply and installation of 3,144m2 of RMF Eco Range raised floor

Supply and installation of 40m2 of new Heavy Grade raised floor

Supply and installation of 140m2 of RMF Domus external raised flooring to new terrace area

As you can see from the below images the finished project is a fantastic workspace for the relocating team. The client also benefitted from a cost and environmental saving from using our RMF Eco range as an alternative to a new raised floor.
